Trend report Live 2020 was a great success
Last week was all about Trend Report Live. This year, the annual event was completely and focused entirely on the sustainable development of the tourism, leisure and hospitality sector after the COVID-19 crisis. With more than 500 registrations and an interesting program, the event was a success. Did you miss it? Reviewing the event is no problem.
Future of the sector after COVID-19
To outline the future prospects for the sector, lector Scenario Planning Albert Postma of ETFI presented four future scenarios, after which sector specialist leisure of ABN-AMRO, Stef Driessen, sketched the perspective from the financiers. This was followed by a reflection from entrepreneurs, marketing parties and government with Luke Slager from Molecaten, Martin Cnossen from Merk Fryslân and Martijn van Vliet from the municipality of Amsterdam. Trend report tourism, recreation and leisure 2020
The Trend Report 2020 itself was also launched during the event. The Trend Report Tourism, Recreation and Leisure 2020 provides an up-to-date statistical overview of supply and demand in the tourism sector and provides insight into trends and innovations relevant to the leisure sector. There is also plenty of attention for the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on the leisure sector.
Input from CELTH Universities of Applied Sciences
In addition to all the statistics about the sector, it also includes contributions from authors of NHL Stenden, Hogeschool Zeeland and Breda University of Applied Sciences. The Trend Report was again created this year in collaboration with the market, education and the government. NRIT, NBTC Holland Marketing, the Center of Expertise Leisure, Tourism & Hospitality (CELTH) and Statistics Netherlands have compiled this report in close collaboration.
